PT, I don't think there is an inside track, no one has a secret SPY filter making 500% or 200%
or even 100% The best you can hope for is 30% which is great until greed sets in. Then you will tinker with it and wipe out any gains.

I agree shillihs. I did reach out to a guy who created a VIX model that is fairly good...takes into consideration contango and backwardation. I just didnt like that the model was highly dependent on what your vix estimations in the short term were. Great model for longer term though.
