I bot NUGT @ $102, JNUG @ $170, but felt it was "stupid" to hold both, so I sold JNUG. Unfortunately, THAT was a real stupid mistake. Anyway, I kept NUGT. When it starts to pull back, I will sell. IMHO, it should pullback, (which is why your indicator is showing DUST as a buy) but that is totally unpredictable. As JP has said many times, you can't just go by indicators. Based on my experience, you can't always rely on indicators when trading commodity ETFs. DWTI is a good example. Anything that goes up parabolic like this should come down -- but -- no guarantees. JNUG could go straight up $600 .. Oh well. If it does, I'll just miss out. BTW, if you recall what happened in 2008 -- this looks like a REPEAT. Historically, metals going up is an escape to safety & does not bode well for stocks. JMHO. |

7/5/2016 8:22:33 AM @pthomas215, BTW, I feel I should point out that a lot of peeps here got into metals back in January. I actually got NUGT & JNUG from someone who posted them at that time (can't remember who). Edit: I do remember Eman posting FCX. That was a helluva pick! |
