Eman,
My usage (or planned usage) is simple. I simply wish to scan in realtime stocks that have dropped a large amount relative to their open price and then auto enter at that %dropped price. When entered, closing at a set gain% (no stoploss, I know, this is "bad") or at the close.
=================================================================================
Let us know if you find any thing.....custom realtime scans on total market... that could be an edge.

Mike: StockVision has that: realtime scans for stocks that drop hard, a %from open column, and a built in paper trade account to test in. Also you can scan for stocks here and import them into a watch-list there and monitor it live. Free trial, no cc.

I signed up for the one week trial at StockVision: it looks very promising. Will know more tomorrow (Monday).
I have question for Karenm.. here and others: if StockVision is so good, why do we need them both of them, StockVision and StockFetcher?

Simple ...
SF is 20 minute delayed.
Gars is real time.
SF - write your own filters.
Gars - the filters are already done.
So, the choice is yours.
Use his filters, OR write your own.
S-I-M-P-L-E- .. !!
edit:
or do both!!

I look forward to testing SV starting from tomorrow with my free one week trial. I am thrilled to learn that feed is real time. I am a little skeptical, since there are no exchange or other fees usually associated with real time data. Amazing!
