@Cheese,
I went to your first link but the chart that came up did not have any Buy/Sell indicators on it.

@ karennma,
1. I watched the ShortAlgo video so I understand now what you were referring to.
Seems like to do the trading the speaker was leaning toward requires Real Time data at the second's level ;

He said you have the "option" ...
Like I said, it wasn't a very good demo ... lots of "noise" I had to block out.

Hi Ed,
I am a BIG fan of TradingView and of many smart and generous TradingView volunteer authors.
I've learned a lot from my basic TradingView sub.
TradingView seems very proud of its Buy Sell gauge
https://www.tradingview.com/blog/en/meet-new-technicals-tab-gauges-never-looked-pretty-6808/
In the following examples and given my browser settings, I'd scroll down the page and find a semi-circle
in the "Technicals" section right below the chart. During trading hours, the gauge should flicker.

One thing I like about tradingView is when you search a stock you can see other's charts and see their view of the same stock. Sometime's you can pick up some good ideas from their chart. I do like trading views technicals clock from strong sell to strong buy.

@ Cheese,
Re: https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/NYSE-CAT/
Thanks for the links. I used it on the 3 pigs I have left.
1-sell
1-neutral
1-buy
The 1 that is a sell is the one that had the last minute Earnings date change. It rallied and then crashed.
THAT was a really bad experience, especially given that it rallied 10% above my entry price.
EDIT:
Mac mentioned being able to read others' opinions. - So, I went back to read the opinions on the "sell" pig.
They're all over the place! (eyeroll) As the saying goes - Opinions are like @$$holes - everyone's got one.
I'd rather just use the ALGO software and be done with it.

@ karennma,
There are hundreds of authors and thousands of indicators on TradingView.
I suggest you ask any TradingView users to tell you their favorite authors and indicators on TradingView,
specifically the indicators with Buy and Sell arrows on the charts,
Focus on the survey repiies from sF users with proven track records,
and ruthlessly put any time wasters on ignore.
You can then use the survey results to determine the subscription level most likely suitable to you,
e.g. if the survey results can be narrowed to a best 5, then a Pro level may be good enough.
Good luck.
Enjoy your TradingView experience.
