I was told you get one adapter for each monitor.

Karen,
I use USB adapters like that but from Tritton (Xtreme2). Works pretty good. I have 3 24" monitors running off my HP laptop. First monitor from laptop VGA plug and other 2 are running extended desktop thru the USB adapters.

Just 1/3 to 1/2. That's about how much space Quotetracker takes up on my laptop screen when I'm at work and can find the time to look at it. But I only make a few trades a week, at most, so it's enough.
