I can't find a like-ETF to SH (-1x to S&P 500).
I'm not looking for a -2x or -3x. I just need a -1x (just like SH). Does anyone here know if such an ETF exists? If so, what's the ETF?

I don't see SP500 1x as a substitute for SH.
There are 1x ETFs for DOW and RUSSELL 2000...

I trade TVIX when I sense the market is going to turn after a monster day. VXX as well, although it is more expensive.

I know that SPY = 1x S&P 500 (VOO is a SPY alternate)
I know that SH = -1x S&P 500 (but what is an SH alternate?)
I have a specific reasoning for needing to know if there is an SH "alternative" ETF.
Thanks.

You do DOG when you think the market will go down. You do DIA when you are betting on the market.

DOG is the -1x inverse of the Dow 30.
SH is the popular -1x inverse of the S&P 500. For a particular reason, I'm looking for an alternate to SH (short the S&P 500). Apparently one doesn't exist. Shoot!
But thanks for the other -1x inverses of the other indexes!

I dont know what your specific reason is, but it is not hard to make at least $1K each time the market turns with TVIX
