Careful, this smells like a bull trap. Personally, I think SPY is going down to 180-185.
This weekend's COVID-19 numbers will be alarming in the U.S. and it will make any stimulus/relief package irrelevant as a new round of fear takes hold.

I am confused. SPXS and SPXL show riskon and riskof on the same dates. Since one is S&P500 bear and one is S&P500 bull, I think that they should be the opposite of each other(one riskon and one riskof on the same date). Right? I would appreciate it if someone could please explain if I am wrong or if the filter has an error. Thank you.

Let's say hypothetically, every stock that starts with a "2", - 6 months from now, starts with a "1".
AAPL - 298 = 198
DOW - 29,000 = 19,000
AMZN - 2200 = 1200
***********************************************
@ Xarlor,
My post above ... those were just guesses.
However, I just got confirmation from several reliable sources.
Your SPY target (180-190) would be ... "on target".

@ Xarlor,
I realize the Prz. says everyone is ready to go back to work. Of course!
But the damage is already done ...
Layoffs & massive losses for all businesses ... big or small.
Recovery will take a long time.

@SAFeTRADE
THANK YOU for a great filter.
I have a select, and then annotated, collection of your works.
SAFeTRADE is truly about safe trade.
miketranz and decipherlinda are among some of the other top names that
immediately come to my mind for money management and risk management.
@ron22
riskon and riskoff, as previously posted by SAFeTRADE,
were solely calculated based on vxv and vxx.

@Cheese,
Thank you for answering my question. Based on SAFeTRADE's filter I could buy SPXL when filter indicates riskon and SPXS when filter signals riskoff. Right? Sorry for the newbie question even though I am not new.

ron22,
Only SAFeTRADE can answer your question.
When SAFeTRADE pulled that filter, I have to understand that I should not use it.
Also, I am not good at taking a vxv vxx detour, especially when I've heard that
volatility instruments may sometimes be used as monetary policy tools.
Personally I prefer SAFeTRADE odds_long odds_short in Buying Trend and Buying Momentum thread.
THIS PREFERENCE IS FOR MY USE ONLY, MY MONEY ONLY, MY PERSONAL CHOICE ONLY
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
It is not an opinion whatsoever about what you do with your money.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IMPORTANT POINT.
You seem to be a newbie like me.
ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO RISK ANY MONEY ONE WAY OR ANOTHER
in this bat-soup crazy time?
Happy trading.

@Cheese, You are right. Times are crazy. I was only going to paper trade for a while until the market is at least partially sane. Then I will make very small buys with a stop loss.

I’m not going to get into any consistent trading maybe as long as this fall. As with all crashes, recessions, and crisis, it takes a while before the market truly finds its bottom. So, we will see W’s for awhile. Great environment for Day Traders however. StockFetcher is really not geared in day trading filter creating. Because they do not have minute/hour data transmissions, only end of day results. SF is really for short term / trend / long term trading, filter architecture.
