I like to try to find filters that get me into the trade BEFORE the )MACD Crossing.
I often try to get in when the histogram is moving up (Buy) or is moving down (Short)

Is there a way to address the space between MACD Fast and slow lines so that the cross is a "Strong" Crossing? So many MACD's have lines on top of each other,resulting in reversals in lieu of a change in direction.

Try using MACD(2,3,3)

Using the slope, and the difference thereof is a pretty good way of identifying a strong crossing..
MACD and PPO are pretty much the same, this is just an example

Fetcher[
market is not otcbb
draw PPO(10,50)
set{PPO_SIG, cema(PPO(10,50), 8)}
draw PPO_SIG on plot PPO(10,50)
/*******/
Set{PPO_slope, 3 day slope of PPO(10,50)}
add column PPO_SLOPE
set{SIG_SLOPE, 3 day slope of PPO_SIG}
add column SIG_SLOPE
set{X, PPO_SLOPE - SIG_SLOPE}
add column X
/*FILTER*/
PPO(10,50) < PPO_SIG
PPO_SLOPE > 0
