I like to try to find filters that get me into the trade BEFORE the )MACD Crossing.
I often try to get in when the histogram is moving up (Buy) or is moving down (Short)
Is there a way to address the space between MACD Fast and slow lines so that the cross is a "Strong" Crossing? So many MACD's have lines on top of each other, resulting in reversals in lieu of a change in direction.

Using the slope, and the difference thereof is a pretty good way of identifying a strong crossing..
MACD and PPO are pretty much the same, this is just an example
