I am trying to set a variable for the low after a stock reaches a high. I then want to screen for stocks that close 50% above the high and recent low. Here is my dysfunctional code. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Fibonacci up(65,10) crossed .5 from above
set{xhi,fibonacci up(65,10) high}
set{xlow,low after xhi}
set{xrange,xhi - xlow}
set{xhalfrange,xrange / 2}
set{xtrigger,xlow + xhalfrange}
and closed above xtrigger
and do not draw fibonacci up(65,10)
and draw xlow
and draw xhi

This is the idea. To test the sells it would help to set a variable for days between high and low. Is that possible?
Fibonacci up(45,4) crossed below .3
set{xfibhi,high 45 day high}
set{xfiblow,low 45 day low}
set{xlow,low 8 day low}
set{xrange,xfibhi - xlow}
set{xhalfrange,xrange / 2}
set{xtrigger,xlow + xhalfrange}
and closed above xtrigger
set{xsellrange,xfibhi - xfiblow}
set{xsellpeak,xlow + xsellrange}
set{xsellprofit,xsellpeak - xtrigger}
set{xsellpercent,xsellprofit / xtrigger}
and add column xsellpercent
and where xsellpercent is > .2
and average volume(100) is above 50000
and close is above .01
and offset 10 days
