4/6/2017 1:25:51 PM it happens mac. when I take a hit, I pull up the Valeant Pharmaceuticals article where Bill Ackman invested 1 Billion and lost it all. It will put you in a good mood. I like Graftonian's GUPPY filter. it's pretty good. I dont hold long..just scalp and move on. |

4/6/2017 2:23:48 PM Thanks PT. I've been tinkering with a new filter, primarily focusing on expansion/contraction of the trader group. Ran a quick and dirty manual backtest last night, with pretty good results. I'll try to get the filter cleaned up and post it in the "public filters" section Graf |

I have been tinkering with the same concept but I havent created anything worth sharing. what I did notice through backtesting is more times than not, you see expansion of short term above long term, then contraction, then expansion. meaning I didnt see a breakout happen when price action came from below averages. |
