remember that charge to the church across from the WH, unpatched feds tear gassed and trampled
protestors, many of them woman, and then he walks and holds up the bible, not too christian was it,
perhaps anti christian.
@ Cheese,
Did you see this press conference? If not, I'm posting part of it here.
It's clear, there are some "very rich" people who don't like Prz. Trump.
IMHO, when it's "time to sell", those rich folks will be OUT of the market.
You might consider putting trailing stops on your 401K positions in case the grid/systems crash when the SHTF.

I used to live in Thailand.
I wish I'd stayed there.

EDIT:
"I wish I'd stayed there." <<<<<<<<<<< WRONG
THAT would NOT have worked out. LOL!
@ Cheese,
SMH ... I just looked at the pre-market prices ...
OMG! I can't believe I've wasted all this time (OUT of the market) waiting for basically the "inevitable" crash that never was.
The small portfolio I HAD? up $9K since June ... SMH ...
This is really hard to watch ...
sigh ...
Problem is, the market usually corrects sometime in the summer or early Fall.
I did NOT factor in the Fed infusion.
A TRILLION $$ is a lot of money.
Oh well ...
I'm back where I was in January ...
Waiting for the next crash/correction, which prolly won't be until AFTER the election.
If I didn't know how to size properly this time,
then I wouldn't know how to size properly next time either
UNLESS
I use a good descision-support tool.
Kevin_in_GA gave us that tool. I just didn't think about applying it.
Kevin's tool correctly stayed on the right side of the market.
gradually adding more shares as prices went up,
all within the given risk parameters that we specify for ourselves.

Let's trade well better, next time.
ADDENDUM (Aug 21, 2020):
Kevin's tool also correctly reduced the number of shares when markets went into a correction.
All my observations above were based on SPY and QQQ in the past 12 months.
