3/8/2010 8:43:47 PM CALLS: 1) CSCO: Apr 26c .85 - They're supposed to come out with huge news tomorrow that will change the world! I hope their Big Bang Theory is correct. If so, this might run. UPDATE: Nearly not as world shattering as everyone had hoped so it's time to move on. 2) IMAX: Apr 15c 1.20 - It just broke resistance & the chart looks good. UPDATE: Apr 15c 1.65 - 37.5% gain for one day & it looks like it might have a little more room to run. 3) STEC: Apr 13c 1.25 - Dang, I missed this run up again! See if it can run to 50 MA (15.13) UPDATE: Apr 13c .98 - We'll have to see if this run is coming to an end. PUTS: 1) TIVO: May 17.50p 1.85 - Earnings wasn't so great. It had a huge run last week so I'm praying it will fall back to the 13-14 range. UPDATE: Price remained the same. Watch the airlines. They're starting to roll over. UPDATE:They rolled over alright, all over me! It's back to calls for the airlines. Please feel free to offer anymore possible plays. The more eyes the better! |

3/10/2010 12:50:18 AM For 3/10: 1) AEO Apr 17.50c .60 (Closing price 17.15) - It's up big after hours so this call price should gap up in the morning. It appears it will easily clear its resistance of 17.75. Earnings are before the bell and it looks good. 2) SNV Apr 2.50c .35 (Closing price 2.73) - Chart looks ok but resistance is 3 so maybe wait to see if it can clear it first? 3) ITMN (Closing price 23.30) - FDA panel just backed their drug. AH is 38.31. Wonder how much further this can run tomorrow. 4) XNPT Apr 10c .35 (Closing price 8.42) - It's trying to come off a bottom. Need to clear 9 first before I'll bite. It it can, it might run to 1st resistance of 20 EMA which is 10.73. Will it ever be able to fill HUGE gap down? I'm sure I've missed some other juicy plays out there so please feel free to contribute! |

3/10/2010 11:50:10 PM For 3/11: As I type this, futures are down about 33 pts. It appears we may have hit the resistance on the S&P500, but who knows how much the market is going to tank. Recently it somehow always magically deliciously brought up when you think it's supposed to correct itself. Everything is also muddled what with ops exp next week. Assuming the market corrects itself more than 2 days. Is that even possible anymore? *Shaking my Target crystal ball* 1) SPY: Apr 115p 2.65 - Only needs about a 3% move for your option to double. 2) QQQQ: Apr 47p 1.01 - Only needs about a 3% move for your option to double. 51,000 open interest on the put side vs 15,000 on the call side. 3) FAS: Apr 85p 2.05 or Apr 80p .95 - Many financials stocks are at resistance from the past 3 months so we'll have to see if they'll have anymore legs. FAS can move fast & furious when it rolls over. I'm also watching X & LVS on the short side. Let's hope the PPT don't come in to artificially prop the market up again! |
