Well, I do stray from the mechanical aspects of systems occasionally. First I had not been placing limit orders this week, so I did not get into ARNA at the 9.18 price, and thought that given the statistics I could probably still do OK entering late at the lower price.
Sadly I was not trading this when CLSN popped. My bad.

Is there a limit to the number of days you would hold a stock if it stays below RSI(2) 50 ?
ARNA, which is in play right now ,would be held indefinitely until it crossed above RSI(2) 50. Is that correct?

That is correct. Most successful trades are closed within 5 days. After that the trades generally are unprofitable.

Two new trades triggered today:
PRCP - in at 7.22. Trading at 7.50 right now
RIMM - in at 15.21. Trading at 15.00 right now.
The only other active trade is ARNA where you were in at 9.18. That one is unlikely to end up profitable since it is down about 9% from the entry price right now.

In RIMM @ 15.20, now trading @ 15.24.
FOLLOWUP1: As of MKT close Tues 29 Jan RIMM +4.87% from entry.
FOLLOWUP2: Wed. 30 Jan, Scaled out of RIMM (very fast) for 7% total gain.
Note: Price plunged 1 hour after MKT open.

Out of RIMM with over 6.6% gross in < 1 trading day....squeaked out of ARNA monday morning by a penny for a loss of just under 4%. With the 15% from the sale of CLSN about a week ago...this system seems to show promise...still early tho. PRCP did well yesterday, but seems to be sliding today...tempted to grab the 3 or 4% I could currently take....but...I'll stay with the plan and see where it takes me
