Tennisplayer2,
Your first string fell with in the [ ] brackets. werks perfect
for the second string of code, I don't know if it means anything but the texts were not in between the [ ] brackets. Tried to double click on it and declared NO matches. The red arrow is pointing to "check Syntax"
Just a thought, otherwise I liked the first pass. I always like simplicity.

Quilin, why do you use the Simon Sez rather than the KST or TSI crossovers? On your DZZ entry, you would have been in earlier.
Even though I have not done a real backtest on the crossovers, it appears that you'd be highly profitable on non-intraday swing trading if you can use daily prices;and initiate a position on which ever crossover (13,50 ema, KST, TSI,TRIX) come first. Is Simon Sez better for intra-day trading?.

Quilln, I tried a kwik trade yesterday using ERY. I got in at 5.96 when the ema 13 crossover ema 50 and I got out at 5.87 when ema 13 crossed below ema 50 for a little loss. Did I do anything wrong or was it just part of trading? I know that not every trade is going to be successful, but was there something that you would have done differently on this trade? Many thanks.

Tennis,
By the way, the KST part 2 werked perfect and as they say "spot on". This one saves a lot of time kruzing the whole spread sheet. I named it "KST - Tennis - 2"
now to the video: You probably did nothing wrong other than calling it a lousy trading day. On my good days GASX or GASL make lots of money with the TOS charts.
Simon Sez gave a buy signal on Friday at around 6 bux at 10:00am EST, using the 20 minute delay stockcharts.com's charts.
going to guess ERY will rise three more days. Some where on your charts screens, keep an eye on the VIX index. It VIX goes up, the market is going down. If the VIX is going down the market is going up. A strange kind of Tetter Totter.
We will have to wait until Monday morning for a directional signal.
For the Day trading via the TOS, using the LBR_studies and the 13/50emas. ERY/ERX

My Thinkswimindicator day trade salping software almost echoed the above. again the commishes ate up most of the profits Friday.
Do you have any other chart services that show moving averages with 1 minute, 3 minute, 5 minute charts.

I am in the process of loading up all my charts on the following site that has loads of bells an whistles. http://www.prodigiorts.com/ .It is FREE to download and it runs in REALTIME. I am very impressed with sofar. If you can, check it out at your leisure.
Have a nice weekend and see ya round the campus.

Pirate67,
In my NAVY days, we would have posted a POD (plan of the Day) at 08 hundred hours with instructions and assignments for the day.
Simon Sez is like a POD but at 10 hundred hours with instructions using the 20 minute delay charts.
Your correct in looking for high profitable positions.
As for Simon Sez being better for Intra-day trading, I am at a disadvantage because I don't have access to the real time trading charts as I use to several years ago. I guess you guys have the advantage.
Sometime in the future, Prodigiorts dot com's software will have fully automated trading signals. If it does, I will be burning the mid-night candles every night on this project. It does now for Pair's trading of which I am learning via

Hi Quilln,
I'm just curious.... is there a trustworthy service/site that provides stock picks or stock recommendations (for the US market)?
In my timezone, I trade Hong Kong and Singapore stocks during the day. But I often don't have the time to find good stocks to trade when the US market opens. It's 10:30PM where I'm located when the US market opens.
Please let me know if you know a good site/service that provides stock recommendations. Thanks.
cheers,
leon.

Quilln, thank you very much for your time and suggestions. I don't have TOS, so I can't follow the LBR studies. I do subscribe to Stockcharts. Thanks for all your help. Have a great day and I have placed you and your wife on my prayer list.
