The best short filter I've discovered on SF. This is a slightly altered 13TH FL., TRO hybrid long filter, That makes an amazing, astounding, unreal short filter. Thank me later. Now you will know why i am skeptical of what i read. Prob. paranoid. I'm sure it's coincidence but enjoy the huge profits in bearish, neutral & bullish environments. Not as good in extremely bullish trends but will keep you even. You're Welcome.

I tried it with various date offsets and sure enough most stocks in the results sets drop significantly.
I read the code and I don't yet understand WHY it works. What is the premise that it is based on?

You need to ask the creator of the filter why it is being touted as a long filter. All i did was take out stocks under $5.00, and even then it was a good short filter but now, it's unreal.

still don't know exactly how to play these. in a strong bull run this can hurt you but you see what happened today on an up day.
ideally, i want to sell on a move up. i think this kind of predicts the trend of the market. the fact that all 3 were down might indicate a choppy or down market. not really sure. this did not perform that well from 07-14 til early august in a strong upswing so i'm guessing no strong upswing.
