Per Tom at SF (look at the ???? thread) we need to stay on topic here.
Riggs, you were looking at the S&P yesterday and came up with a turn around prediction. Can we see this in SF charts. Would we be able to see it in the charts of SPY?

arby -

The (SPY) is usually an exact mimic of the S&P 500. If you look, today Bearpower fell, while Bullpower leveled off to the right. When Bull does that, it fortels the future for you, as it did in the "SPY." Yesterday that dark candle was basically sitting on the LRC(60), and the Elder-Ray was showing nice divergence on the S&P500. But when it showed you (div) in the 5th trading session yesterday, I knew today would be a great entry point. But also look at Williams(2) in that same 5th session...see the divergence there too? That's how you know the next day will usually be an up day. And that's all you need for entry points. You dont need makets to be up everyday to make money, you just need 1-single up day to get in. So, you've got your E.R.(div., and Bull stopped), you have a "double bottom" pattern, and if you look....Williams(2) had a "kickout." This is a recipe for instant success! So back to your original question..."can you see it in the SPY?" The answer is a big yes!

RIGGS

Hello Riggs ,

I have some question's if that ok . When the bear power line falls and is moving down and the bull line is flat with the Williams moving towards 0 ( divergence ) this is what I am looking for to enter a trade , possibly I have this correct . My First question is what if the Bull power line is lightly turning up while the Bear power line is falling and the Williams is showing a positive divergence is this a type of trade to be avoided because the Bull line is not completely straight ?
Riggs my other questions is where do you place your target to sell ? Do you follow the Williams for a sell signal and use it to build your target around . Thanks for teaching me a better way to trade .

Chris

Hello Riggs ,
I am still watching SPY if it goes back up should be huge for now it looks like the Titanic sinking . Present 32.20 I am doing happy dance I did not buy it at 32.79 .

ALF- What kind of method do you use to buy stocks . Is there any indicator or method ALF uses that helps you choose stocks to buy that you could share. I am open to learning .

In defense (and with thanks) to "the poster," I've been developing my own version of "the poster"'s Elder Ray strategy.

Today, here's what my Elder Ray strategy produced:

Bought 1 x SNP July105 put @ $3.40 8:31am
Sold @ $7.30 at 8:47am

Bought 3 x ENER June80 put @ $.98 8:31am
Sold @ $3.10 at 9:06am

Hardly had time to finish my first cup of coffee...thanks WSG.

Todd
