Hi all,
I am trying to create a filter which shows the ratio of stocks above their ma(200) to the total number of stocks in SP500.
If the ratio is above 50% then it is bullish sentiment else bearish. Lets call this 'sentiment indicator'. Once this is done, I would like to add rsi, macd and stochastics to this 'sentiment indicator' and go long when these also align with trend determined.
Can any guru pls help me create this one.

Now manually divide the resulting number from this filter (341 as of this writing) by 500. Answer = 68.2%
There is really no way to use the result number as part of any filter. Sorry.

Thanks.
How about count function for # of stocks above and below ma(200) and then take ratio of above to total number of stocks. There has to be some way to find this trigger.

The count function returns a 1 or 0, not a sum.
This type of capability has been requested a number of times in the past without success.
Bottom line is that this cannot be done in SF until they update the code. Contact SF and see if this time they would do this.
