I think this may be a bit closer to what the poster wanted.

No, this filter doesn't cut it either, after scoring very low on the back test I ran. 57 wins and 42 losses.

Thank you- tro
57 wins is not bad if ya ask me! I havent run it yet to see where the charts are. i am working on somthing else as an alternative.
I got an idea set-up that i am having a rough time finding and requires a lot of criteria to be met.

After looking at it, it really is a simple filter to use. I dont have the plan written in front of me but one signal was when the price crossed above the ma green line. I had somthing writen about the rsi 3 but i didnt bring my case home tonight.
further, I am not sure how the back test feature works but i personally would visual scan before i did anything as the back test just applied all candidates to the test. There is just some charts here i see would be "alright trades"

That's why we all love this site where we can create, tweek, test filters out to our hearts content. Finding the gem that makes us money is what makes us keep trying to improve. Myself, I just try to create simple but effective filters geared to positive investing environment. No use trying to fight a down trending market unless you are shorting stocks. I like your efforts.
