i am trying to write filter that shows stocks like 1$ STOCK went above 2$ by 1 or 2% LIKE it GOT to 2.05 OR 2.10 then crossed below 2$ PULL BACK
show stocks were close crossed above 2 by 2% 3 days ago and 1 day ago crossed below 2 i get -0- can some one try to make it work thanks

You can use the NEXT NTRI FILTER to do what you want.
Just change the selection criteria.

TheRumpledOne how can change doller amount in this filter,i tried to change 2 to 3 or 4 it did not work do we new a filter every time we change doller amount. thanks

The backtest I ran on this filter produced approx 34% wins vs 66% losses. Not what I would consider as a viable filter. But, then again, maybe this backtest processing tool just doesn't work right?

If the filter is a long filter, just sell the stocks instead of buying them and then it has a 66% win loss ratio. Problem solved.

This is really funny Way2Late, but true.
At one time in my trading history I thought about doing this myself. In fact, one time I tried it just for fun a long time ago and made money selling short rather than long. The big guys are always on the other side of us small traders, so this logic does make sense.
All of this just goes back to the same thing....the stock has to be traded.
