since SF has no real time capacity, does anyone know if I can use a good SF filter on tradestation? Or somehow adatpt the fitler to tradestation filters. thanks.

Having used Tradestation in the past, I would think that any filter that can be written in Stockfether can also be written in Easy Language for use in Tradestation.

Does anyone know of other simpler/less expensive real time intraday trading systems compared to traderstations that can do similar things as SF does with the filter? I am most interested with filters that describe average day range and filteres such as "open is less than high 1 day ago" type.

ok. found an answer
http://stockcharts.com/ provides real time data and have similar customized filters as SF. Not quite as powerful but is good enough for my purpose.
