Max... my Flames just got torched by the Red Wings tonight, I don't see any team beating them soon.
BTW - just got back from Mexico, had a great vacation. Judging from the tone in this forum I figure most people are long and and got crushed. I think this is a buying opportunity of a lifetime. I will start picking up a few good stocks for my retirement fund.

Welcome back JP. Regarding the Wings...hey...with the woeful state of football in MI they're our sports salvation right now. Been a Wings fan since before Stevie Y signed on. You're probably right about why it's so quiet in here. But personally, I'm looking to sell any rallies until the S&P can start trending above support.

not sure if people gettin crushed is the reason......in watching and participating in other forums with above average traders and investors, much of TA or fundie analysis is so hard to determine, that seems to slow the traffic. Same thing last Nov 07, jan-feb 08, and back several years.
On the investments side...valuation is nearly futile.
On the TA side, many systems are likely not producing. I look at some of the old scans that I have used, and they are all over the board. I don't mess with them much anyway and have not built a swing or position trade in quite a while.
On the trading side...he, he, he, life is good. But what is there really to share if your intra-day systems make money on price and volume?
Just a hunch.
