back on topic...sort of...RumpledOne says...

"StockFetcher's "hidden" power is its ability to calculate and display values."

-----------------------

Let me hear a BIG AMEN !!!

I have said this before...this important aspect has completely changed the way I use StockFetcher ! I give RumpledOne 95% of the credit for illustrating this powerful ability through his posts here. I must say that although I don't use any of his "displays" etc... I do study them and some of the coding techniques that he implements in them ! I pick and choose and manipulate those I like to fit my own needs !

TheRumpledOne (and we've had our petty differences before) has definitely been an innovator and a groundbreaker in bringing this whole notion of using StockFetcher to calculate AND display information ! And for that...I salute him !

Regards,

alf44

I totally agree.

RUMP IS the number one innovator and very generous contributor to this forum. I do not think anybody else has influenced (in a positive way) this forum more than he.
He is also usually quick to help out a beginner and IS the mastermind in coding complicated SF code.

Thanks Rump!

Bought NXXI today with TRO's last filter and these filter changes:

avg vol(5) above 500000
avg vol(30) above 500000

--------------

NXXI 10,000 shares at 1.36. The close ended up at the high of 1.48 for the day. At nice 8.8% gain. As I held, we'll see if I lose the gains tomorrow or it continues and punches through the 1.53 resistance.

8% in a day!

Do you realize what would happen if you did that everyday and compounded your gains?

If you bought 10,000 or more, I would sell enough to take out my original investment and enjoy the "free" shares.

I usually like 1,000,000 shares average volume... that's enough liquidity.

But nothing wrong with 500,000... still enough liquidity.

And, thanks guys for the kind words.

MAY ALL YOUR FILLS BE COMPLETE.

No, Frank, when someone strays OFF TOPIC or is rude, I put an end to it.

That's part of being an Admin.

But if you think that's being childlike, so be it.

If StockFetcher would implement the REPORT PAGE the way I asked them to, then what I could do with SF would make what I have done so far look PRIMATIVE!

What I want is the ability to enter a ticker, like on the SF HomePage, and display all the values I want in a row format rather than columns.

That way, I could display just about EVERYTHING I have coded on SF and group like items.

Then all I would have to do is scroll down to whatever section I wanted to look at.

Since I am all over the place, have you guys seen www.ddmachine.com? Check it out!

We need to run all the stocks from the NEXT NTRI filter through it. Anyone want to do that?

For Rump: What you're not saying is that the only times I ever posted anything was to ask you/Mike Parker to stop arguing/bickering...that's "OFF TOPIC or rude" and you two eventually ruined that group and ran everyone away as they got tired of it. Just like you and Riggs now. This IS my last post ever, God knows I don't want to be off topic and rude.

Oldsmar,
it is about time you stop being such a bickering bore and get back to business. Do you really think ANYBODY is interested in your musings? Post a filter or ask a question about filters or contribute something about trading. Anything else is a waste of our time.

Koronbock,
I KNOW nobody is interested in musings. All I initially did was ask Rump and Riggs to stop their childish arguing. How come nobody else told them to quit their bull/musings? Rump will ruin/destroy a group in time, the Yahoo site is proof. To give them their due, they're both loaded w/info....(and silly egos).
Frank
