Great momentum filter.I have a question, using BVSN as an example. How do find stocks making the first big move up on volume? Must also be in some sort of uptrend or basing period prior to the move for at least 6 months.BVSN in early January has 2 long range days up on 2,000,000 shares and breaks 1.00.I'm looking to get in early on trends such as these.Any help would be highly appreciated.Thanks,Mike....

From another's blog I sometimes post to I posted this:
Some of the biggest gainers there are come from under a dollar(and under $2) stocks IF they are caught on a bollinger band/volume increase/price breakout.
The volume % increase is very important.
Look at MDII on 2/1.
Price breakout was on 1.1 mil shares,up from 62k the day before!
It closed that day at .44
1 month later on 3/1 it closed at 1.01,a gain of 130%.
Look at RPTN under a buck on 3/6 a 3/7 b/o on 1.7 mil at 1.20 close,now 7 days later at 1.71.
ZROS 2/13 b/o on 2.4 mil at .55 now 1.63, 210% in a month!
WITM 1/31 on 2.7 mil at .49,now 6 weeks later up over a double at 1.07.
I could give a couple of dozen other examples with stocks under $2 in the last 6 weeks.
The stock Brian previews tonight BVSN is a perfect example on 1/9,look at the b/o on 2.5 mil shares from 210k the day before at 1.02,now 2.75,a nice 170% gain.

Actually the big gains can come from ANY price range stock, not just under $2 but the question from the fellow was how to find the lower priced potential runners.
I've posted about how to find these and the filter to find them at least a dozen times on these forums in the past.
Some folks don't technically call it a squeeze but I don't care.
All I know is I can find tradeable big, sometimes huge runners.
That's all I care about.
Simple and works for me!

I am trying to put together a collection of TRO Stockfetcher codes, kind of like the Mother Lode of Stockfetcher filters.
I want to use the Nitri filter more as my skills develop. I like the idea of buying x shares, waiting for a rise, selling half, and keeping the balance.
I do not quite understand the reason for the weekly updates of the filter.
