unfortunately, history has never had a complete convergence of global economies. A "new world order" if you will. Opportunities on the "now" with some regard for history, but this is "historical" in and of itself.
Another Scotch please, don't bother with the ice or water.

When globalization is complete and we have one world gummint, and less than 10 percent of the people control 90% of the world assets then we the sheeple will have equality in poverty. We are on a one way slope down if the gummints have their way. "They "desire total control and that means no freedom as we know it. Ours is quite limited when you really think about it. I find it difficult to think positively about the future. When was the last time we had a good clear choice in a Presidential election or for that matter a State election. There is really only one political party in this country.

Agreed heypa. 2 parties, one path. Sure would like to see a Libertarian "revolt" with about 35% of the votes just to shake up the establishment regardless of the winners.
There is a war far behind the scenes going on...crafted or accidental that will lead us down the same path to the same results.
Micro chipped pets have proven VERY effective over the past several years. That is one of many possible "solutions" to all our ills (security, borders, money control, global health care, food distribution, etc.).
Brave new world gents.
Gonna go enjoy a loud and bright show for the greatest nation on earth (for now).
