glgene: I'm looking at some variations on the theme with results that would appeal to a short-trader.
If you set the parameters to 100 fir the ma(200) and 5 for the price, then sort by % increase (highest to lowest) the results this week are 80% negative for the first 15 picks (i.e. 12 out of 15 are well into the red).
Even more interesitng is a pattern I've noticed pretty consistently in this Market: If a stock does not show positive on Monday at close, especially if it loses more than 1%, it continues to drop in price throughout the week.
For example, BAS was down -2.47% Monday, and closed today down a total of -10.68% from its open, while BTLI was down an additional -7.36% from its Monday close and PSLV is down -16.94%...and MOBI continues to plunge.

Duke -- Many thanks for the output enhancement! I'll incorporate that into some further enhancements I'm working on, and will show you in a couple of days ... and ask for some more help from you. I appreciate improved output to make it easier to interpret. It's a work-in-progress script.
JimVin -- The only reason I used 111% (instead of the 100% you're suggesting), is 111% is simply the tested strategy by IBD (see my original post). That's also why I used a min. price of $15 (which I believe is a recommended min. price by IBD). Do you -- or anyone reading this -- know the suggested min. volume by IBD? I think it's either 250,000 or 400,000 but I'm not sure. I'm going to an IBD seminar in my town tomorrow night, and I'll ask them (and let you know their response).

Haven't found anything on recommended volume, but I look forward to whatever you can find out.
Thanks.

JimVin and others,
Attended the local IBD seminar (Level 1) last night. Here are the basic parameters used by IBD in many (but not all) of their searches:
Price, minimum: $15
Volume, minimum: 500,000 shares
Avg Vol (50)
I used $15 in my original search (see original msg).
I'll incorporate volume, as well.

Interesting; I'm playing with price variants in increments of 5 to see what works best for my style...
Thanks for the update!

Since none of your searches reached 111%, not sure how your search produced these results. ???
Also, I noticed that your search was weekly. ??? Can you elaborate?
Remember...this search is to produce overbought stocks...if you own them, you might want to sell them (if they're 111% over MA(200). Or go short.

..simple; the search was for the weekly condition..then sorted by daily condition..don't trade if daily sort column not over 111%

..just tweaking
