isn't it part of the point, that sharks and windups are rare, that gives the inside/outside day there value?
inside day: will not continue, so something is going to break.
outside day: another will follow.

FYI : "Shark" infested waters...again today !
I'm seeing MORE sharks being printed today (so far) !
SPY...right now as we speak...looking to print ANOTHER consecutive ID...that would make 3 !
Also...IWM (Russell 2000 ETF) ...along with it's Ultra ETFs (UWM & TWM) trying to print "Sharks" today !
"Shark" alert on ... URE (Ultra RE ETF) ...and... SCC (Ultra Short Consumer Svcs.) as well !

Of course, these WON'T be "official"...till after the Close today...so remains to be seen if they will hold up !

Well...the EOD "flush"...harpooned the aforementioned "intra-day Sharks" !
BUT : "Intra-day Sharks" (or, any of the other patterns for that matter) ... mean ZILCH !!!
These (patterns) are meant to be recognized, observed, game planned...and...traded as... EOD patterns !

In terms of the "range contraction" of the last few days...whether displayed as IDs, NR days, Sharks etc...
...I think...OBVIOUSLY...we saw "range expansion" and increased volatility today !
Bit of a tricky day...but...all in all...pretty much as expected !!!
Trades...managed properly...were there for the taking !
Range Expansion was expected...and...Range Expansion took place !!!
