I got Buy #25; sell #23; Hold #s 6,19,20,34
Not sure why there are some minor discrepancies with signals other people are getting, but overall I am super happy with this system. Thank you Kevin and everybody here.

@tennisplayer2,
Thanks for the info, my values for last night (as of this morning Yahoo site) are 145.45 146.44 144.57 145.00 2,983,800
I've found that Yahoo volume numbers for XIV change frequently for a few days after they are first posted and that any Yahoo volume number that doesn't end in 00 will definitely change later.
these are the volumes I have loaded into SS XIV over the past 10 days followed by today's corresponding Yahoo volume value for that same day.
2983800 , 2983800
4996900 , 5049900
3677200 , 3722900
2596800 , 2596800
3493800 , 3522600
3111100 , 3147100
3488300 , 3488300
4151600 , 4202700
4477508 , 4835100
2530600 , 2562300
Most have changed since I originally stored them in SS and I've been leaving the original volume values I loaded intact as I've generated signals with them and run backtests with them as they are.
Since there are a lot of volume based indicators in this system's 30 filters and some are cum based I suspect some of my signal differences could be due to those volume differences.
Thanks,
Ed S.

My Signals for 1/12 are 4 new Buys for filters #23,35,38,40. and still holding on 7 prior signals.
Thanks to everyone who answered by XIV Yahoo data check question.
I have a follow-up question in my search to get at the bottom of the differences:
For those of you who are updating signal data and have had different signals than I in some cases, please look at your SS Import Prices dialog box found under the File menu, and let me know which of these 3 circles you have selected under the Options section:
a. Import Prices and Symbols
b. Import Prices and Symbols -Clear Previous Prices
c. Import Prices and Symbols -Clear Previous Prices, Symbols and Sectors
I am currently using a. which does not replace any prior data for XIV.
Thanks,
Ed S.

I don't think you can get to the bottom of why some strategies trigger for some and not others. I've run the exact same Signal on two different SS datafolders, using the exact same stock data and import method, and had strategies differ. Not wildly, not every time, but it happens.

@ferndave,
Thanks for the depressing info, though I think I'll continue pursuing it a bit longer.
Your post got me thinking about you probably being a much longer term user of SS than I am and you might have an older version of the SS sw, which made me realize the first question I should have asked everyone is what version of the SS sw they have as it might differ from the 4.5.40 Build Version I downloaded.
So if everyone doesn't mind another question, what version are you running?
Thanks,
Ed S.
