Don't mention it. Consider it as my debt to the SF community at large for enduring the previous 3 weeks of my badass attitude.

This is a filter I use.
It is based on the holy grail setup in Connors and Raschke book.
The basics are:
Trending lower (ADX > 25) ema(140) decreasing
Correction to the ema(20)
Enter on the break of the low
ADX(14) has been above 25 for the last 2 days
and low is below EMA(20)
and high is above EMA(20)
and Historical Volatility(50,1) is above 40
and ema(140) has been decreasing for the last 3 days
and close is above 5
and average volume(30) > 500000

Since we're on the topic of LBR, I suggest that we devote an entire thread to the filters found in her book. All filters then will come under peer-review for analysis (not to be confused with "bashing"). At any rate, a collective endeavor would prolly be much better than a one-man journey. As such, we can have our cake and eat it too.

Alf,
The download instruction is outlined in detail on this page (page 2, the third post from the top). Follow the instruction as written and you shouldn't have any problem downloading the file in question.

niko,
I followed the instructions exactly. Actually, the "download" of the file seems to have worked...the file icon is on my "desktop".
I just can't OPEN the file.
When I click on the file icon...nothing happens.
Any ideas ?
Regards,
alf44
PS. What exactly IS the file ? Is it "Street Smarts" in it's entirety ?
