I've recently taken an interest in the TSI indicator and I would like to remove the Histogram. It blocks lines on the chart. How can I do that ?
I'm liking TSI (8,4,7) below the 0 line. But, the Histogram gets in the way.
Wondering has anyone had any positive results using the TSI ?

Thanks

@wcurtis,

glgene and Kevin_in_GA had a discussion about the value of both TSI and TSI histogram.
So, I separate TSI histogram from TSI, instead of removing TSI histogram.

Hope this helps.

SYMLIST(DIA,SPY,QQQ,IWM)

set{tsi847, TSI(8,4,1) }
draw cema(tsi847,7) /* without TSI histogram */

set{tsi847f, TSI(8,4,1) }
set{tsi847s, cema(tsi847,7) }
set{tsi847diff, tsi847f - tsi847s }
PlotType{tsi847diff,zerobar}
draw tsi847diff /* TSI histogram */

draw TSI(8,4,7) /* both, as is */

snappy, I was not not advocating anything.
The system that you've posted on graf's SOLO thread is as perfect as one could expect.
Adding more stuff just means using more indicators to tell the same thing.

snappy,

full disclosure: some trading sites said TSI and MACD are similar, with different pros and cons.
I use a version of your system with TSI.

I am always open to looking at new indicators and / or different setups with the indicator. Won't mean I will change anything, but it is always fun to see and possibly learn something new.
