Morteza, I changed the filter to sort the list by percent close over close 1 day ago

Fetcher[
/*morteza471*/
price is between 1 and 40
not OTCBB
set{volx, volume / Average Volume(30)}
add column volx
Average Volume(30) > 100000
set{trigger1, close - close 1 day ago}
set{trigger2, trigger1 / close 1 day ago}
set{trigger, trigger2 * 100}
add column trigger
trigger > 10
SORT ON COLUMN 6 DESCENDING
]

Copy it and create a new filter And save it and If you want only few Change in volume from 100000 to 500000

The biggest change I made was to allow stocks to start showing up when 10% above still using 20% for the trigger.

Let me get this straight.You're trading gap stocks off the open,on a pull back consolidation entry,then selling when and if the stock hits the high print of the day again? What happens if the stock does not trade up to the high? Also,what happens if the stock trades below your entry? What's your downside risk? Also,if you took this trade 10 times in a row,how many times would you be profitable? Thanks,Miketranz...

Graf

Understood, scoop in when forward/upward momentum is realized & capture early on. Smart progressive move! I like

Interesting day, with CLDC being the money pit. I did some noodling last night, and came up with a rule-based entry and exit strategy, and it seemed to work, at least for today.

I added the ATR trailing stop (or chandelier exit) which quickly became my exit of choice.
For entry, 3 criteria:
1.Hull MA slope is positive.
2. MACD crossover (the lower, the better)
3 Equal to or above the ATR trailing stop.

This old dog learned to set up a scan in TOS, which allowed real time alerts and a 0840c buy of CLDC (the best trade of the day)

Trades today:
CLDC 2 trades 14% and 16%
ACHV 7%
XBIO 4%
SPHS 15%
ASCMA 2%
AMRH 8%

Graf - Happy to hear you're doing getting a hang of TOS.

I am still watching yt videos and trying to set up a scan for TOS. They have a preset default pre-market scan under "lovers and losers", but it takes time, to find one (in price range) and then go to charts and watch it..& quite honestly, in pre market there isn't a lot of movement..one minute its up and next min it's down..you should make a video and uploaded it on yt for newbs like me.

Any advice would be very helpful to me

Thanks !!

I saw CLDC as I was messing with TOS scan around 1-2pm est, it was around 4.60 some..but, I didn't trust myself with the scan, as I couldn't get the logic in due time, there wasn't confidence to pull the trigger. I have been calling td ameritrade help a lot to get answers, it's on my speed dial, hahah

I did find soph or coph around 2.50, it took forever to move .20c and got pulled back to 2.6x some, not fun, tbh.

Mansor, I used the Scan page/Stockhacker. Then set 3 columns for open between 1 and 10, a volume min,
and %chg > 15.
