Eman, the party just started. This filter is your invitation.Buy the close, sell the open. These make good gap plays. If your not into that, buy +.10 above the open, place a stop right under the open, and let the party begin....

Eman,it's the only set up I trade.Yes the results will be mixed, yes you will sometimes loss money. The key is to win more on your winning trades than you do on the losers. Its all about being able to scratch a trade even,if it does not gap.If you let one of these go against you, below your entry, you could get hurt. That's where everyone is hitting the exits at the same time. There's alot of discipline involved. You have to remain focused and be able to pull the trigger.I noticed the best set ups come from very hi vol, long range days, breaking out to new 60-90 days highs. If you could refine your filter, you may get a higher % of winners this way.We are looking for follow through. Also, you should also see what sectors in general, seem to follow through the next day, after a volume spike. Let me know what you come up with.Stay focused, you can make money trading this style.Mike.....

Tom,I'm watching the market most of the day,to see where the action is.I make my final decision the last 15 min before the close.I actually enter a position 2 min before the close, just in case the stock sells off, then I won't trade it.As soon as the market opens,I'm gone in the first 2 min.I find through experience, more times than not that if a stock gaps up,take the money.Hope that helps.Mike....

Tom,here's my trades today to give you an example.1)5000 shares MNI @.70 sold .71; 1000 shares S @5.07 sold 5.07; 5000 shares ACAS @3.32 sold 3.55 The first couple of trades were scratched even. But look at the last one.Do the math, that's the one that counts. They were all sold right off the open.If I waited or hesitated, the numbers would not have looked this good. You become a better trader when you're able to scratch a trade even and not get stuck in dead money.....
