Found this that "Holy Grail" wrote some time ago, but never got the respect it deserved. Seems to be a great 10-15 day filter. If you like Penny's, you'll love this filter...

What would you recommend as an exit filter for backtesting this type of trade strategy?

Don't be too surprised if he were to answer ure question with "it ain't what you backtest, it's how you backtest" (or the like). Hehe...

Riggs,
Common decency dictates that one should always return the favor in kind, but I'll refrain from personal attacks. I need only mention that if I'm cutting/pasting other's e-books (which I explicitly acknowledged), you're cutting/pasting other's filters. Nevertheless, I look forward to more of your filters. BTW, did you think I was being funny?

That "backtest" feature is there for a reason. Don't let ANYONE discourage you from using it! Believe me, THEY are using it themselves just as much as you are. And you're so right, it does make fetching fun!

That may be, but I've been learning to work with the backtesting feature on this site and it has a lot more potential than I originally thought.
Note: Backtesting is definitely not a way to trade since it involves "curve-fitting" but it can be fun tweaking the results.
So far, I have tweaked the backtest of "Rigg's Penny Stock Filter" using TRO's RSI exit strategy over the last two years and here are the results:
2004-2005 = 1200.92%
2004 only = 1022.18%
2005 only = 1323.45%
Keep in mind, this is for "Entertainment Purposes Only" and I doubt I would have taken many of the risky trades this filter would have recommended.
