Can someone come up with a filter that finds:
Stocks that make a move up to a certain level then for a time period move sideways in a range, then they breakout on the upside above the range and make signnificant gains. An example would we the last several months of JCI.

search this site with darvas box. Not sure if this is what you had in mind but it does some of your criteria.

Look at my BASIC FILTER DISPLAY or my PRICE POSITION PERCENT DISPLAY.

Thanks for your responses.
I spent a lot of time following examining screens from where both of you directed me to.
What I think I am really looking for are screens to determine some of the traditional consolidation technical analysis formations, like flags/pennants, rectangles. I know some of the reversal patterns are already documented within SF.
