Nothing exciting with this filter. It may be good for 401k's and and for longer term trading. I tried to develop the filter based on the following parameters but it needs some tweaks. Any suggestions to make it better or replacement filters are welcome. Thanks.
Accumulation Dollar Cost Averaging Strategy (Buying the Dips)
Be long as the stock/ETF is you buy or are holding is above it’s 30-week moving average
Sell half of your position by placing a 3.0% stop loss below the 30-week moving average
On a 7% drop below the 30-week moving average consider closing out the remainder of the position
Computing the Accumulation Strategy Buy Points
Calculate the 20-Day Average Range of the stock/ETF (High – Low)
Find the Price of the Last Pivot High Day
Buy Point # 1 - Subtract (20-Day Average Range * 2.5 from the Pivot High
Buy Point # 2 - Subtract (20-Day Average Range * 4.0 from the Pivot High
