I agree with drawing trendlines for body opens and closes. Tails will throw you off everytime. Thats takes experience to recognize so this tip just saved someone about a year of looking at charts.

Ever the filter tinkerer (to keep my old mind working),I'm playing around with something like boolean logic to further filter the results of a stochastic %K filter to a single stock. The indicators I'm using are volume, rsi,%K,ADR and smi.The thought is that if a computer can be programmed to beat the best chess players in the world,it should be possible to program it to beat stock traders too. So far it looks promising, but that's only based on about three weeks backtesting with 8 winners and 2 losers. For today it picked PFSW, lets see what it does in the next 5 to 10 days.

Can anyone direct me to TRO's article on trendlines? I've searched but have not found it.
Thanks.

If anyone can tell me the filter to catch fast stochastic crosses (daily) > slow , but under a level of 20, I'd appreciate it.

Finding stocks that made 52 week highs and now FAST %K criteria met. RSI(2) positive divergence display.
