Anyone seeing what this filter can do?
Picked SRS yesterday.
Simple trade.. fade the gap with Buy Zone triggers.

TRO, pardon my ignorance as I don't know squat when it comes to coding, it's just greek to me, could you please explain what this filter does?

Hi TRO
I've had great success using your mtc strategy on gap fades. Is this another to use for fading the gap
either short or long? Or in my ignorance am I just seeing an early short opportunity (SRS example)? When
I go back several days, it appears that the filter is selecting stocks that could gap either way, is that the idea?
Thanks, Ken

The filter selects stocks that have dropped at least half of their 5 day range in the last 5 days or less.
So if stock ranged between $6 and $12 over the last 5 days and closes below $9 then this filter will select it.

No, not really.
But if this filter finds a "cow", of course you can FADE THE GAP and milk it.
Ken, if you are having great success, THEN DO NOT CHANGE A THING. DO NOT BE DISTRACTED BY OTHER METHODS, SYSTEMS, INDICATORS, PEOPLE, ETC.... PUT YOUR BLINDERS ON AND STAY FOCUSED!!

I agree about keeping focused. I use the gap fill stats filter to look at the field, but have been watching aapl for some time
and focus on that. I really see the value of working this setup (mtc) and using a limited number of stocks or perhaps more happily one you know well. I'm not a code writer so appreciate your generous nature with filters Your a rare bird, BTW how long have you played bass? Ken
