 Hi All,

Can someone tell me which is the best candlestick pattern to use in conjuction with which indicator, which gave the best result?

I would want to do some backtesting based on this?

 Thanks

 raviram80:

This question is simply too vague to answer properly.

I would suggest first reviewing the user guide, then looking at the wealth of indicators available (and tested in these forums).

Why combine a candlestick with an indicator? Is it needed if the indicator is good? Probably not.

 Thanks Kevin, I get it.

I am still interested in knowing which filter do you use frequently. Is it the 5% a week filter that you posted in other post?

I am using a filter that broadly tracks the NYSE market for breadth - specifically looking at market indicators to tell when I might want to go long or short using leveraged ETFs.

Search for HOLY TRINITY and you should find it. I also use a few other indicators that are based on the VIX and its movement relative to its Bollinger bands(9,2).

Hi Ravi, I am new to this as well (thyname - for my tracking purposes)
I am reading the usage guide first. The purpose of this tool is to create your own filters with the strategies you use.
